These sort of monolithic assumptions about ANY group are problematic and are exactly why we stay stuck in this cycle.

We eventually need to accept that the divisions and labels we insist on using are our own creation, and that there are fundamentally decent and fundamentally messed up people in all walks of life. Looping all white people in together as if we have all have the same experience, same biases and same beliefs is nearly as counter-productive to moving forward as what racists do for other groups.

Reddit trolls aside - there are many, many people who care about this issue strongly and DO understand even if they haven’t lived your exact experience. That’s where we’ll find the solution, too, by bridging that gap and rejecting what society/media/government wants us to believe about that gap.
