People in blue-collar professions have an insane sense of entitlement when it comes to jobs

Lol, most skilled blue collar jobs are upgrading skills every few years, especially to keep their licenses and ability to keep working. Do you know what blue collar means?

Never heard of people in other professions complaining about training? Have you ever had a job? My white collar colleagues are constantly whining about upgrading courses, training, workshops, etc. In fact it's like the one thing we all rally around.

You're talking about a group of working people who may not have had a lot of opportunity to job hunt and had to work in what fields were available to them in limited economies/geographical regions, and now their very livelihoods are being threatened by technology and aren't given an alternative route. Gtfo with your entitlement.

I work alongside renewable energy experts, and even we feel bad for the folks who's jobs are being threatened and even they have at least a shred of empathy, considering plans to upskill these workers is incredibly limited.

This truly is an unpopular opinion.
