People who say Counterspells aren't interactive, are you also playing RDW where you shoot your opponent's face?

Thats the thing about uw control though isnt it? If they have settle and chemisters in hand and you play around settle by attackingwith fewer creatures they can just chemisters instead. In this case they took a risk (passing their turn and not developing threats) for a reward (clearing the board with settle). However even if the opponent plays around settle they can just chemisters instead, or fiery cannonade the small attackers. Then next turn they have cleansing nova. It feels like even with uw takes risks the risks dont matter and the rewards are always great. In the above example, chemisters insight was 4 mana and tap 2-3 opponents creatures. So even if you make the correct play, it just doesnt matter to uw.
