Please bring your own containers if you start to tao bao food!

Interesting. I’m surprised that Starbucks doesn’t accept usage of BYO containers for food, cos if that’s their logic, then why do they accept BYO cups/bottles/tumblers for drinks? The baristas would only rinse my tumbler under the tap before using it for my drinks.

Also, if F&B companies wanna “cover their own backsides” in case of food poisoning due to an unclean BYO container, I suppose they can always state that we customers will bear all responsibility for the state of hygiene of our containers.

Anyways, well, with the whole BYO thing here in Sg, my experience has been that a lot of why it’s still not widely practised here is not just cos customers can’t be bothered, but businesses also see it as too much trouble to be bothered.

Well, we try la, if cannot, then too bad lor. At least we tried. :)
