PM Doesn't Feel Bad About Making Canada's Wealthiest 'Pay A Little More'

No, he didn't cut the middle income tax bracket by 1.5%. Payroll taxes went up across the board for everyone, so even if $15 minimum wage becomes a reality, the take-home cash of those people is less.

I can assure you the PC would be 100x worse for middle or low income

Based on what actual data? Under Harper, low income people were paying less taxes, and still had deductions for things like transit passes.

Transit was getting funded, and fares didn't increase by over 30% in 5 year spans. People who could afford $75K electric cars didn't get $7K in tax credits in the name of being "environmentally friendly".

When Harper was in power, civil servant hiring was fair and equitable. Applicants weren't discriminated against for their credit rating, and they didn't get fingerprinted. They also got paid on time.

Hospital workers like my mom were paying significantly less in taxes, and she didn't have to work two jobs to be able to pay rent and save for retirement. Now she does, despite being close to retirement because my dad's government pension means that he can only pay for the monthly food bill.

So you can take your "assurances" and shove them up your ass. Harper was a dork and bad at public relations. But he ran a competent government that was fair to low income people, students and civil servants.
