I was on /r/diy the other day and some guy bought hydroponics supplies for growing stuff that wasn't even close to being weed and there were like 5 different people who ordered them too and said the feds started digging through their trash afterwards... shit's so dumb man. it's like everything in this country is designed to keep minority people down. blacks, latinos, south asians and muslims... all of us are being held down and i'm fucking tired of it man

I went out for a walk yesterday because i wanted to take some pictures of the streets at night. i was fucking scared to death. know why? i kept thinking about trayvon and whether someone would mistake my camera for a gun and call the cops on me or worse, shoot me (I live in AL and they've got the same shitty stand your ground laws as FL does). i fit the profile. to most people i'm a dark skinned south asian male with iranian blood who could be either mistaken for a jihadist or a gangbanger. there's nothing stopping me from being put in jail, fuck they put my dad in jail for a speeding ticket when they thought he was acting suspicious

i know that was kinda a rant but i had to let it out. i'm just so tired of this shit. so tired of the news stories where people of color are being murdered and deported and i can't do shit about it because i'm just one person against the world. and to the white people saying "but you get affirmative action," what's the point of getting into college easy if i'm dead at the hands of law enforcement instead?
