Pro-Life people of reddit, if abortion was stopped what would be the plan to ensure the welfare of the thousands of neglected and unwanted children?

Well, considering it's purpose is deeply rooted in our instinctual desire to survive as a species...

But that's besides the point. Whether or not it's a necessity doesn't matter; the fact remains that people will be doing it anyway. At some point the personal responsibility of each individual having sex bleeds into the personal responsibility of each person in the community to make decisions that better the community as a whole because the children they birth will eventually, in some way or another, become a burden (or benefit) to you. If we force women to have unwanted children, we should also take the responsibility of caring for those children in the event those "unresponsible" patents can't.
