To be fair, I don't think you understand one thing about cognitive assessments. The PSNI test depends massively on time, which means the focus is heavily weighed towards processing speed (PS). Your PS is only one section of things like verbal and non-verbal reasoning. You can be exceptional at non/verbal reasoning, but have a lowered PS.

If the IST cared about what you just said. It would not heavily weigh on one metric so heavily.

Again, you're wrong. It's about reducing applicant numbers from the thousands, so your employers private contractor has less work to do and more profit from their contract. If they cared, they'd provide a score using a General Ability Index type assessment.
