He’s talking about the constancy of harmonious conviction as the awareness that is aware of the present moment as grace, rather than restless mental states. Those are just words though, to describe it is not simple.
Only in this present moment are we, the idea of a you and a me, aware of one another, directly communing on Reddit. When your focus shifts away from my words and onto the next perceptual view, our communion, your conception and perception of me, in mental terms, becomes an idea for you of a me in the past.
Should we meet again, you’ll draw assumptions from memory based upon what was once the present instant that we communed, which then anticipated a projection of the new present moment of encounter, so simultaneously I am perceived by you as a result of who you believed I’d been and therefore would be conditioned as similarly projected in the future - all as a result of the mental decisions you made about me in the present tense moment that is now but will be perceived in the new now as past.
Your awareness will not perceive of higher potential because you did not consciously choose true communion, but unconscious separation of mind. And that’s because you only dealt in the mental of what you currently think you know as awareness, not in the fuller spiritual sense of what is not yet known of infinite potentiality. In reality, I may have offered a different view that you momentarily questioned but because it felt unnatural to question your sanity, you discard it or do not perceive it at all.
In spiritual terms, were you to recognize that as we presently commune this very instant, we are not separate in awareness right NOW at all, therefore you consciously choose you’d have us be in the harmony of your own grace that you’re fully aware you are (this is a sensation that can’t be described, it must be experienced). It is in every present-tense moment that a conviction of expanding harmony of the instant is given sway, and in this instant, the projector lens is cleared of its conditional debris.
Expanding awareness quietly speaks of its harmonious communion within every present moment, no matter its seeming appearance in any time or place, knowing that it undoes the past in the present, and expands into an awareness of ever higher knowns that it does not yet know are possible, because it stopped considering limits and conditions.
It looks at the door handle it touches right now and allows that it will not be confined as presently perceived, but offered the grace to perceive it expanded within higher potentiality, so that even something as simple as a door handle could be potentially perceptually different when next encountered. It isn’t looking for it, it isn’t looking for the past in the present at all, its only aim is this moment, newly aware when differences arise, but always letting those pass away as well….constantly allowing the grace that is pure potentiality.
Conviction to expand awareness into what is not yet known is the only constant goal of all present moments to no longer be bound by the limits of memories or false projections that would present conditions and limitations.
The mental is the projector of a present view of the past conditioned awareness. What is referred to here as the spiritual is the constant grace offered all present moments truly communing as present, not separate, to be willing to let pure potentiality birth higher expansive awareness.
