r/television defends Aziz Ansari and goes to #1 on r/all within two hours

So after reading the article at Babe, I wanted to ask wasnt that rape? At some instances it definitely seemed like consent was missing. But I found it weird how two camps of people came to such different conclusions. One side, even people on the left spectrum of things, considered it a bad date, an unpleasant experience whereas the other side thought it was unconsensual sex therefore rape or at the very least sexual assault.

Isnt that kinda crazy and surreal how people can come to such different conclusions on such a topic? We are talking about rape of all things. Aziz admitted to the sitaution actually happening, yet why are so many people still taking it so lightly? This kind of reaction is telling me that seemingly to a lot of people not all rape is that bad.
