I'll be honest. I did have an agenda, but it's not what you think.

Check my post history. I am trying to get Americans to write to their elected representatives and urge harsh retaliation against Russia. I am indeed gay, and this is indeed a real concern of mine (I know gay people in Ukraine and I've been worried about this long before this article came out), and I thought that maybe I could raise awareness and perhaps heighten anti-Russian sentiment among LGBT people and build further solidarity for Ukraine among LGBT people and LGBT allies.

I get how it came across, and I apologize for that.
