So random question for all you guys

If you're not sure, you will not survive. Even the ones who were 100% in their decision at some point or at several points would willingly push a reset button and talk their past selves out of doing it if they were given the option. If you have little to no maternal instinct then that's a definite sign parenting is not for you. Usually, this kind of thing is hardwired into us so if it's not there, like aces not feeling sexual attraction, we likely won't be able to provide the child with the right amount of nurturing and love like how we won't be able to reciprocate any sexual feelings towards allos. At least, not to the extent people who have maternal instincts will. Take it from me who, like you, don't experience any maternal instinct. In fact, it's quite the opposite with me. Children trigger a reflex in me that tells me to stay as far away from them as possible. They actually disgust me, as harsh as that may sound. This is not exclusive to just toddlers or babies, I talking all ages. So, yeah, me becoming a parent would be the cruelest thing I could do to a kid. I fully believe that if I were to raise a child, I would fuck them up terribly. So it's a no-go for me.

When it comes to animals, however...I'm all over them. I'd gladly take care of an animal with all the effort that it required. In fact, I could actually see myself being a vet or a volunteer that travels to help heal injured animals and help repair their environment.

(Sorry if I came off a little pushy. That wasn't my intention. I'd just suggest you don't do anything without fully consider the aftermath.)
