Random Thoughts, Small Questions, and General Discussion (week of June 22nd, 2019)

Idk weird question but I'm kind of wondering if I have "the right" to call myself A Vegan? Rn I only make and try to only eat vegan food for environmental and ethical reasons. But I'm not technically opposed to the idea of eating/using animal products, I just think that it's unethical to do it to the detriment of the animal(see the nice girl with chickens that leave eggs in weird places?) or if you don't need it(see isolated peoples who don't have the agriculture/import to survive without hunting/fishing?). And if I go to a restaurant with friends with no vegan options I'll usually just order something vegetarian instead of going to another restaurant or asking the chef for a special order.

It just feel hypocritical to call myself a vegan to me. I've set my tag to plant based diet, but that feels even more wrong since I really don't care about health aspects. Idk what are your thoughs?
