Rant Wednesday

I feels ya. Fitness junkie for life. Age 11 to 34 years of training day in day out. I got a blood clot in my brachial outlet (Paget-Schroetters) with 4 acute bilateral pulmonary embolisms this July. Now I'm on an anticoagulant that I'm not supposed to drink booze or coffee with because of the risk of internal bleeding. -.- Can't abduct my left arm at all because it cuts off flow to my arm or lift anything above 5 lbs because I could cause the vein further damage. Just doing powerwalking and Pilates for my sanity ever since. Lucky for me I'm Canadian and a candidate for rib resection surgery (on Feb 1st) as a remedy, but I'll be out of commission completely for 8 weeks. It's taught me a ton of patience and to listen to my body... but I can't wait to make a comeback!
