You know what? I give up. How do you watch this show and still manage to miss its core message? How do you side with EVERY bad guy and not see the problem?

I mean, I get what he's saying in that context. I work in an extremely social-justice heavy office which is extremely progressive. I know most people aren't tick-the-box but I've seen meetings and documentation held up for weeks til we could get contact with a lived-experience consultant/ someone living in the community we're writing about to give us the green-light on the correct wording or acronym or whatever.

The substance of the work is fine, but because we need to make sure the 'correct' or most 'up to date' language is used it does give off the impression that that little detail means more than the rest, or you need to be insultingly specific and explicit with the language you use.

Blue Hawk bad etc but having worked in that kind of environment you definitely start missing the forest for the trees.
