It really do be like that sometimes.

What I meant is that no matter how hard you try, If you are diagnosed with depression disorder, a healthy lifestyle won't help you getting better. It also won't help preventing depressing episodes. When you have depression disorder you NEED medication. Once you are medicated .. sure a healthy lifestyle helps keeping you ... well ... healthy. But even if you have the most healthy lifestyle you could possibly image, stop taking your meds and it's over. Same thing with recovering, You could have the best life coaches on earth, all the money and time in the world, put more effort than a dude trying to get into SEAL's. If you don't take medication you won't feel any better.
