Recommended broker

I recently moved to Fidelity.

Started with Robinhood
Used RH on and off for a few years. They had too many outages the last year or so, so I decided to cash out and move to Webull. I have read rumors about them skimming off orders but dunno the truth to that.

Webull
Probably the best UI as far as Mac and iOS. Way more data available than RH. Be aware the developer is actually Chinese under the guise of being a US broker. They had an outage a few weeks back that was the final push for me to cash out.

Fidelity
Much more grown up than the other two. Offers complete banking and retirement planning. I did not like their iOS app at first, and Active Trader Pro is completely useless on Mac. They are very much not set up for active trading so be aware of that.

TDA
I opened a TDA account within 24 hours of my Fidelity account because I did not like Fidelity at first. Their thinkorswim platform is probably the best if you're an active trader. They also have a mobile app that is more like Fidelity's if thinkorswim is too much for you. After a few days of TOS, it was just too much for me- too much flashing, blinking, information flying at me. I cashed out and decided to stick with Fidelity.
