Reddit, what's the worst gift you've ever received?

Not a gift I recieved, but what my secret santa recieved from me I guess. Not sure what "grade" this is, but here I was in year 7 (11 years) and we were doing a secret santa with a $20 cap. I went out to the supermarket with my mum and bought my person (let's call him John) a box of filled chocolates, and a white stuffed bear with a santa hat. Cost about $15 all up and I thought it was a pretty nice gift. Come the day of the exchanges I recieved a nice little notebook, thrilled with it. I'm watching John open his gift, and after he's opened it and had a good look at it, decides to go to the teacher and tell him something I don't make out. Teacher beckons me outside and i'm thinking maybe the chocolate melted or an eye fell off the bear. Nope. Teacher tells me John is not happy with his gift, thinks i've spent too little on it and wants me to go out and buy something else for John. The class hears about this somehow, and as soon as I re-enter the class i've got my peers shaming me for spending too little on my gift to John. I don't have the heart to tell my mum that we have to spend more money on a gift, so I go out after school and use my pocket money to buy John a christmas-themed mug. I fill the mug with some lollipops from the store all bouquet-like and wrap it all up. Next day I give said gift to John, he's happy, i'm happy, the end.
