Redditors of Florida, how has your employer handled the impending wrath of Hurricane Irma regarding your personal preparations and evacuation?

I work for Target, one of the largest retailers in the country. I do agree that a trained monkey can do the job that almost everyone that works there can do. I myself am a cake decorator, a skilled profession, this doesn't matter because you are expendable, 100%. My direct manager has no experience in the position she was given and literally does nothing all day. All she has to do is just show up on time and she is set, no matter how much work she actually does which is nothing most of the time. The other Team Leaders, as they are called, do nothing all day as well. Then on top of that every department is short staffed by multiple people so even if you are the only one who can do the job you were hired to do, you have to work in other departments and do other jobs all day long. For example, in a typical day I have to come in and get my cakes ready to decorate, but before I can even start that I am expected to cover the deli, slicing meat, frying food, and any other customer service needed. That will go on for 2 to 3 hours at the beginning of my shift then once my relief comes in I can finally focus on cakes. That doesn't last long though because now that there are two people covering deli and bakery Target feels that is plenty of coverage, which it's not, so then they ask the deli person to go push carts or cashier because like I said before it is grossly understaffed. So for the rest of the night I have to periodically leave my station to help guests and this goes on all day and night. I'll then have an hour or so left in my day, after spending maybe 50% of my day doing the job I was hired to do, to clean up the bakery, throw away the old items, do dishes, and still help cover the deli. This is because Target decided that having a closer cost too much so they made me the closer as well. On top of that they will not give anyone 40 hours a week except Team Leads who do nothing all day long. This is the retail mentality and all I can say is do not work in retail, management are mindless and soulless trained monkeys, also Target requires a bachelors degree from its higher up managers but they are, for the most part, idiots who blindly lead.
