We aren't dating but I really like sharing this story:

I was working table for women's lacrosse on Saturday morning. It's pouring rain, I'm miserable because while I am standing in the rain in 39 degrees... The rest of the staff is in the press box that is heated. I am freezing my ass off while being soaked in water.

10 minutes into the first half, a girl on the other hands go down with an injury. And she goes over to the trainers and 5 minutes later, she comes over to me and asks if she can sit next to me for the remainder of the game (there is an extra chair), I say sure cause clearly she's hurt.

At first, it's quiet as I am radioing subs up to the box. She opens up the conversation with "That big bitch by the goal stepped on my ankle" and that's when it clicked and we started talking. Despite, being in the same position I was earlier (wet and cold), I somehow felt warmer.. I forgot I was freezing when talking to her. We talked for the next 20 minutes and then half time happened.

And I'm thinking- well there goes my company. But sure enough it's raining harder than it ever has in this stadium. And she comes back out and sits next to me and we resume conversation.. Despite it being 36 degrees out and pure downpour of rainfall.

Talking about everything from our lives to our goals and what we want our futures to be like to what we were like in high school. We were so similar. And she was really funny! She had the most beautiful green eyes I have ever seen before in my life.

I have turned off my Walkie talkie at this point so I can talk full time to her.. My boss can get the subs himself.. I'm gonna talk to her and only her.

And then the game ends. And I'm thinking "welp. That's over" but she asked for my snapchat! And now we have been talking like we have known each other our entire lives... She lives and goes to school over 4-5 hours away :/
