Redditors who have a job where they go into other people’s homes (plumbers, electricians, etc) what’s the weirdest most disturbing thing you’ve seen while working in a customer’s house?

I do soundproofing. I went to a persons home who fosters troubled children, many of which with mental and antisocial behavior. It was basically a business run out of someone home. The whole place was accessorized to be on lock down. And the room I was to look at was the room of a particularly troubled teen who liked to act out who had a sound proof booth that they gave him huge punching gloves to put on and punch the walls of the inside of this soundproof booth. My job was to make it more soundproof because he still made too much noise in there while freaking out. ...it was seriously the most messed up site visit I have ever been on.
