I hope manga panda will pick this up. They are the quickest. Also I hope Masterpiece continue.

Sorry FA, I LOVE your work, and I'm very grateful for all the chapters you've done so far, but this monopoly thing is ridiculous. Competition is good. For all big manga, people either go to manga panda for speed or wait for manga stream for quality. And then many buy from VIZ to support the manga. This attempt to gain monopoly on the pirated content makes no sense and is kind of childish (please don't be offended).

Look, there are two ways that this manga is heading to. Either it is getting smaller and will eventually get canceled and in this case this whole thing is pointless. OR it is getting bigger and will be one of the major mangas out there and that's my hope. If it continues to grow there will be competition, and it will be like all the big manga. Unofficial translations will always be released days before and the official ones will do just fine none the less. Your "business model" if I may call it that is not sustainable, you're better off making a name for yourself by proving you release faster and with better quality so you get the head start in the competition. By continuing the current model you are handing over the initiative to other competitors so they can pick it up any time and instantly gain a huge following simply for releasing before you do. I already bookmarked Masterpiece's site and check it regularly because they released before you that one time.

Besides, waiting if absoloutly pointless. Either one has the money and the access to buy VIZ's translation in which case they will. or they don't in which case they won't. Releasing with VIZ is pointless because I still have the choice to just ignore VIZ and read your translation. Releasing after VIZ is also pointless because then VIZ's translation will be scanned and pirated. The one and only way in which a fan sub makes any sense is if it was released before the original. Then people read the original to get the official translation and support the manga.

If you still want to wait pointlessly that's your choice. but sooner or later someone will pick it up because you are leaving the opportunity wide open, and you will lose a huge chunk of your readers to the new competitor.
