'We have a responsibility': Fox News declares coronavirus a crisis in abrupt U-turn

We know how many people are dying right now though. People will post sympathies when 200 people die across the world in a single event, but thousands of people die in China, Italy, Spain, etc and this is still "just a hoax?" That's the attitude that's annoying me right now.

To be fair, nurse friend has significantly changed her tone after getting back to work. During that conversation she was telling me it was just a flu and everyone was being dumb about it, not to pay attention to the news etc. etc. Respect to her for being on the front lines, but it's pretty rude to respond to someone being worried about family with "everyone dies." It's like, yeah becky but I don't want her to die yet damn
