Kuniaki Kobayashi is an underrated wrestler. His matches against TM1 were some of my favorites when I was watching '83 NJPW. I liked them more than the 1983 Dynamite Kid match, honestly. But that's partially because I don't like the 1983 Dynamite Kid match that much; it was very influential and some spots were way ahead of their times, but the pacing and structure were not there.

Anyway, it's worth to watch some matches of Kobayashi, including this one. He's a fairly relevant junior heavyweight, not a revolutionary one, but he was in some important matches. Also, he was a technically sound wrestler, so his matches are really a pleasure to watch.
