A large part of my military training/current profession involves observing agitators who mix in with large protests to target specific people/sites/assets. Their goal is not only to cause destruction but to make a movement or those who respond to it look like the bad guys in order to win the propaganda war. Targeting the apartment complex that the MAYOR OF PORTLAND lives in? Who stands to gain the most from that? People trying to discredit the BLM movement and terrorize the anti-Trump mayor? Or a movement of minorities looking to end police brutality? Given the uptick in right-wing violence and terrorism lately, I'm more inclined to they are the cause.
