Activists are not happy that children are getting free ice cream at a vaccination site in Canada.

From what I've read it's beneficial for the population to get vaccinated as it will slow the spread of the virus.

I'm healthy myself, and as such I likely wouldn't die from it. However, as I stated above, even healthy individuals have been reporting long lasting symptoms in alarming numbers. What you make of that is up to you, but it causes concern for me personally.

I got it because I feel it has the potential to slow the spread, but also prevent possible complications that could arise from catching it.

No one knows for absolute certainty whether the vaccine is safe in the long term, but with all the investments and smart minds behind the creation of them I'm wagering that there won't be any significant long term issues with individuals that got it. But that's just my view, and you're subject to have your own.
