Ron Unz - Meritocracy: Harvard PR vs. Factual Reality

The issue I don't get is why do Asians work so hard to force themselves into institutions that do not want them?

Harvard doesn't want Asians, but Asians want to go to Harvard. So Harvard says "take off your pants and dance like a monkey, maybe we'll consider it" so then Asian parents have their kids do just that.

Do they really think that being in the same school as the kids of white politicians or billionaires are going to get their Asian kids anywhere? Those people don't even consider Asians to be people. Sure, they work really hard, and might make 200k a year, while someone at a state school might make 100k a year. But in the end, Asians just force themselves to jump through one hoop after another, bash their skull against one ceiling after another? For what?

The amount of demoralization that these Asians at Harvard have to experience must be insane. To work so hard, then to come into Harvard and see these white kids that come in just because they came out of the right vagina. Then they are on their way into CEO and director positions because their dad knows someone that knows someone, while they are forever stuck in "individual contributor" roles fighting to learn "leadership skills and confidence" while the white guys just happen to have "leadership skills", and it's totally not like it's a systemic institutional advantage at all.

Then they make all their money and see Asian women would rather date ugly worthless white dudes because they are so "creative" and "innovative" and not unlike the hard working but "uncreative" Asians. So in the end, they have all this money, but they constantly have to look up and see some white cunt who got more while doing much less.

If Harvard doesn't want Asians, maybe Asians should fucking stop wanting Harvard, instead of continuing to bash their skulls against the wall until their kids kill themselves.
