I've always loved the world-building in RWBY more than anything else, so I always want it to be good. But there were a handful of volumes in there (4-5) that I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy. While I was critical of them, I tried to remain as respectful as I could. It's hard to be in invested in something and have it not be as good as you want it to be. I'm sure there will always be some subset of haters that are like this, where they don't necessarily hate the show, they just don't like it like they used to and aren't really expressing this in a healthy way. Not to justify them, just to offer a bridge to maybe finding some empathy with them.

That being said, I've liked these last two volumes and I think that the quality is going back up now. So I'm content. And I'm also sure that I'm not the only one that feels that way, either.
