This is what I've been saying for ages now on this sub, always to heavy downvotes.

Dems need to start focusing on building goodwill and promulgating a platform others can get on board with.

Say what you want about Hillary, but her pointing to the spurious Trump- Russia connection was always self-serving, and it has hurt the progressive cause by taking the focus off of what we should be doing / communicating / learning from our mistakes, and instead puts the focus and blame on other people's failings that we can't control.

Yes of course misconduct should be investigated, but this sub has become a huge spectacle hanging on every latest word about the investigation. There is so. much. more to politics. Let's upvote issues we can discuss. Things we can change each others' minds about or organize around.

Mueller will do Mueller's thing. But unbridled gossip isn't politics. It's paranoia. It's delusion. Don't give in to the media circlejerk. There's so much bad journalism going on around it. WaPo, I'm looking at you especially - virtually creating the 'facts' of their stories out of last week's unsubstantiated headlines. It's irresponsible and it's hurting America.
