San Antonio PD Police Chief: "I'm angry at the police haters, I'm sick of the police haters, We protect them. We defend them. And they give us a big F U. And I'm sick of it." after officer dies from wounds sustained in shootout with man with extensive criminal history

Again, I've read the report. Thanks.

A known drug dealer steals his car but somehow they take his word for it that the drugs aren't his? How is his word enough for a warrant? No criminal record and was a military contractor which means he had been vetted. Two days isn't enough time to gather forensics from the items found to prove it one way or the other. Shit, it took a man 3 months in jail recently to prove that white dust was dry wall and not cocaine.

I don't know how his house is laid out but if the police were banging on my door at midnight I wouldn't be able to hear it because my bedroom is in the back up the house upstairs nor would I be able to see the driveway. They could announce it all they want and I'd never hear it. Again, why does this HAVE to be done in the middle of the night dressed up as SEAL Team Six?

And the police being culpible and the drug war being bad aren't mutually exclusive. They still raided his house and shot him based on the fact that he may have had. Who is being protected due to this?
