Science in the quran

You seem a nice person, but that's not enough to make people believe there is a god. So many interpretations of the same text... So many different paths in life and Islam doesn't seem to have the answer to all of them. It's just copied stories from old myths in different cultures. Whether the verses are right or wrong, we can't rely in the Qur'an to learn science. So what's the point on proving they are right? We can't evolve from that start point. Physicists don't learn "Allah holds the birds up the sky" they learn how this works and on that basis scientists create planes, rockers and many other amazing things. Allah is irrelevant in all this. Allah has more important things to do, like allow his prophet to have sex slaves, many wives, make sure you don't fart and many other very important things. In the meantime science finds cure for diseases. Science is cool and fascinating. Scientists don't read the Qur'an to learn how to launch a rocket.
