Sean O'Malley: Dominick Cruz will 'be a little bit too fast, a little bit better' than Marlon Vera

Yes I agree Chito isn't as skilled striker but Dom favors position over everything, including power. You brought up conditioning and I think that Chito by virtue of youth has better conditioning than Dom as was displayed in his last fight, that isn't to say Dom is going to get outworked himself, I think it is close in that respect. Dom has never been a finisher though and I don't think he is going to put it on Chito because that really is the environment that Chito does best in. Dom is smart and will be tactical and his best opportunity is movement, touching him from the outside and using that to set up his wrestling which is leagues better than Chito's. Chito easily get's pulled into a BJJ match which he will never catch Dom in a sub off his back. He will lose rounds and Dom will get a decision. Or Chito will catch Dom and batter him until he pounds him out or chokes him out. Chito is a finisher, the most in bantamweight history, that matters.
