US Senate Committee Flags "Deteriorating Democratic Situation In India"

Sorry, but if nitpicking over these sorts of details is supposed to show India is improving, perhaps the argument has already been lost.

Arent you nitpicking information as well (Compared to using a 2$ poverty line, etc.?). China grew amazingly post 1978 but when you look at a graph, it looks like a constant growth rate.

India is a country absolutely crippled with petty nationalism and religious infighting, an unresponsive bourgeois government entirely beholden to a handful of super-rich families, and seemingly locking itself into yet more of the same by making ever closer ties to America and American-backed institutions like the IMF and WB.

Great Maoist views, what can I say. Unresponsive Bourgeois government? How is free cooking gas for the poor meant for the bourgeois? Beholden to super rich? The rich have to pay the brunt of taxes, as the majority of people dont pay any. Regarding the last point, you realise that India still forges closer ties with the AIIB, amongst other international organisations, right? Pretty big doomer view of the country from a Sino user, which is ironic as I dont share the whole anti CCP animosity as Sino tends to dislike. Perhaps I should have a more polarising view on the country as well.
