[Serious] Everybody's got a story to tell. What's yours?

The story about how I worked for a short time for a guy in Japan and got thrown out of his house.

Guy was an acquaintance of a buddy of mine with whom I went there. Deal was simple: We help him with renovating his house and can sleep there for free. So well... we slept in the house we renovated. Meaning: It was cold as fuck. We only had electric heating. And the shower wasn't working so we had to go to the bath house every day.

Another problem was that he thought we went there solely to help him out for free. So we would get up in the morning. Grab something to eat and then he expected us to help him for 8 - 10 hours every day. My job was it to put patty on the wall. His illicit mexican worker who spoke broken english showed me how. So I did. Boring task. And at some point things went out of hand. My friend was supposed to clean an apartment for a guest who would be staying there. A task he couldn't accomplish alone in the short time he had. So I went there with him. We cleaned that thing, vacuumed it, made everything ready like in a 5 star hotel. When we meet up with the guests who were supposed to stay there. We gave them false names just for the heck of it when we met up with them in a Starbucks.

So well. We got that over with and everything was fine. But a few days later we decided that the house we were staying in was shit anyways and decided to pay for a hostel room. We brought all our stuff to the hostel and went back to the house we were renovating again to meet the illicit worker again who had some tasks for us: Buy him some stuff he needed for the flooring. Don't know what exactly that stuff was anymore. So well. We went and brought that stuff. Apparently it was the wrong stuff but would still work according to him. And off we went again to our hostel.

The next day my friend comes to me. Angry as fuck. Told me the guy who owns the house was unhappy with how things turned out with me. To be clearl: He was angry at the owner, not at me as we did nothing wrong. Turns out that illicit worker was a lazy fuck and didn't do shit. And he blamed it on me for not buying the correct stuff he needed. The owner didn't even want to hear our side of the story. Oh well. He also got back at the apartment story because according to him that was a one man job.

We stayed at the hostel from then on and enjoyed the rest of our stay. Was a shit job anyways. Not even to mention that later on the owner cheated on his wife and business partner (who he also had a kid with).

Fun times!
