[Serious] Whats the creepiest/scariest thing that you've seen but no one believes you?

So this is something that actually happened a few times while I was in high school. Once every few months I'd be woken up in the middle of the night by static from the alarm/radio next to my bed. It would always start quiet, then slowly grow louder until it was deafening. White noise and static have always freaked me out a little bit so I'd usually go into panic mode, pushing every button on the thing trying to make it shut up, but it wouldn't.

The first time it happened, unplugging the radio was the only thing that shut it up. The next few times it happened (each several months apart) even unplugging didn't stop it, and I resorted to hitting it, removing backup batteries, etc., one of which always ended up shutting it up.

The worst part about the mysterious radio problem was that after the first time, it was often accompanied by a call on my cell phone from an unknown number. This was always around 3-4am, so needless to say I didn't answer it, but it would call back several times before stopping.

On what was probably the 5th time this happened, I finally did pick up the phone, and was met with total silence. I waited a few seconds, hung up, and it called back. I picked up again. Silence, followed by something like slow breathing. Hung up faster that time, it called back. That time it was mostly static, the breathing, and something heavy moving. I think I screamed into the phone or something and hung up, but at that point I was freaking out so bad I'm not sure if it was some kind of adrenaline-fueled war cry or if I was just crying.

I finally broke down and told my parents about it, but I'd always been kind of a scaredy cat so they chalked it up to my imagination running wild. The phone call bit was more concerning to them because they thought it might have been some sexual predator or something calling me, but no explanation as to why the calls always only accompanied my radio losing its mind at 4 in the morning. Parents also never told me if they were able to get a source on the caller.

It never happened again after that last time when I actually picked up the phone, but I've slept with my phone on silent every night ever since and I absolutely refuse to pick up from unknown numbers. I was probably 15-16 when it happened and I'm going on 32 now.
