My dad's a preacher and we live in a very small house and we also spend a lot of time at our church, so when he discusses certain things we can usually overhear it. I'm completely sworn to secrecy and regularly purge my comments so fuck it, time to break that sworn.
One guy and his wife LOVE to trash my parents and recently left the church because they ended up embarrassing themselves to the entire town. The dad is addicted to porn and he and his wife have been investigated two times for arson (two of their buildings burnt down in "freak accidents" when they were having financial troubles. One building literally exploded from something that very rarely happens). Their eldest son isn't the fathers. Their second son has pressured girls into sex, nudes, and was involved in a blackmail site- posting said nudes when girls didn't do what he wanted. He is currently 16 so all girls were underage, some as young as 13. Parents paid for multiple sheriff's campaigns and gave a generous donation to the town (and are extremely close with many officers) so he didn't get into any legal trouble. Lots more but it's not too too bad.
Second family is bffs with first family and also left recently. Dad, mom, daughter, and son. The mom regularly harasses other teens if the daughter says they're being even the slightest bit annoying, constantly insults myself and my sister to our faces and behind our backs. Dad had an affair a while back that kids don't know about. Daughter (16) drinks a LOT, has a reputation for stealing boyfriend's after being cheated on by first family's second son. Cheating on her current bf with said second son. Self harmed, tried to commit suicide, ended up having a "miscarriage" after taking a shit ton of drugs and alcohol (which parents don't know about). Bullied a girl until she attempted suicide because she told people that daughter was cheating on current bf (had screenshots admitting it).
One guy set his 6 month old daughter's room on fire (underneath her bedroom window, outside) so he could get custody of her. One teen girl turned into a literal Nazi and just had a baby girl completely in secret. Her brother (also a Nazi) was a meth dealer and just got into a car accident killing two teenage girls (he was at fault). There's a lot, looooot more and it's kinda funny seeing people so quick to tell you their secrets and then try to ruin your life or reputation. My dad is way too good of a person to do anything with the information he knows, though. He's an honest-to-God example of what a Christian should be.
