[Serious] When did COVID-19 get real for you?

A few weeks ago, i was in Rome. While i was there, everything was pretty normal, no lockdowns and stuff. Going back home to switzerland we had a bunch of problems. We went home by train. The trainride was supposed to take 3 hours until Mailand. In Mailand we were supposed to take another train to Bern, Switzerland. But things went very wrong. At first, the trainride was normal. We were doing normal speed. Soon it got dark. Then the announcer in the Train said something i didnt understand because it was in Italian and the train stopped. There were some signs on the train saying something about Corona, but we didnt really understand it. We were now standing still somewhere in Italy. After about 1 or 2 hours the train started moving again, but very, very slowly. Normally i drove at about 200-250 KM/H, but it only drove at 30-40 KM/H. Then the train stopped for another 2 or something hours. This went on for a long time and in the end, our trainride to Mailand took about 8 hours... I was absolutely exhausted and tired as fuck. But i just couldnt sleep on that train. We of course missed the train that would take us to Switzerland, but luckily there was a bus that we could still take. The Busride took another 5 hours. We got home 7 hours later than planned. In the end i found out that all of this crap was caused by an outbreak of the virus in Mailand. So we basically went through the middle of the outbreak...

Sorry for the bad English, im from Switzerland
