I have seen and heard multiple health officials say it would only take 6-8 weeks. If the US could do a massive stay in your house lockdown nationwide. Only actual essential workers out and all masked. They say doing that for 6-8 weeks is all it would take to get it under control. We could have done that several times already but instead we flail around pretending it’s not real or we have no idea what to do. In reality, it’s not even that hard and we could have done it and saved thousands of lives. Thousands more will die too. If someone in my family dies, I will also be blaming all those jerks not wearing masks and making this whole mess last so long.
