No it doesn't make it any better. But this conversation isn't about general working economics in the EU (which are terrible at the moment, at most places, not just game development). It's about CDPR specifically. You and some others are pointing fingers at CDPR when its the whole EU that this is happening, hard work, low wage, bad environment. This is like blaming Glock (american manufacturer of handguns) for America's gun laws. A big phenomenon affecting a smaller industry.
