The sheer nerve of that is insane when the right-wing has held a monopoly over domestic terror for decades.

• Abortion clinic bombings and doctor killings have been going on for years.
• Gabby Giffords was shot in the head.
• 3 men were arrested in November for planning to car bomb a Muslim community center and
• 3 arrested in October for planning to shoot up a refugee housing complex.
• A man in Canada shot and killed 6 innocent men in a mosque in January.
• A man was arrested after killing one black man in NYC where he planned to go on a killing spree against blacks.
• 5 men of middle-eastern descent were shot, 2 of which were killed, in 2 separate incidents by dudes yelling "get out of my country" in Feb and March.
• 2 men were murdered in Portland by a man who later told police "this is what liberalism gets you" after they stood up for 2 women being harassed on a train.

And these are just the recent incidents I can think of off the top of my head. But they will ignore all of those incidents and use this single case to paint the narrative, while further dividing the country.
