Should Acadian expulsion be considered genocide? New committee will decide.

My family is Acadian. In the county of Windsor Ontario, they still practice the Acadian articulation of the French language in school. It takes someone from Quebec years to adjust. My fathers family was blue flag and were moved to Windsor Ontario with the Huron Wendat and given Native treaty land by them. My mother’s family is Red Flag and we’re captured by the Mohawks and lived with them in Quebec before the Natives were moved to residential schools and the white people moved to catholic boarding schools which still is not talked about.

This actual genocide has been going on for much longer. My family is originally from the south of France and experienced a massacre of their town town during the crusades for they thought the children of Jesus lived there. This story of genocide is ages old and it is has been happening to many a cultures around the world and it is time to unite to stop it in a global level.

They won’t know how long the Acadians have been in North America until they understand that the Akkadians are who built the structures on oak island.
