Should I go away from grain free [help]

"There's no need for a dog to have grain in their diet, there's no benefit to it. Dogs will get 98% of the nutrients they need from grain free foods, there's one thing they can't get without the grain, but that one thing can easily be added in as a supplement off to the side." Is what my vet told me, and I'd trust this semi-retired vet because he's the only one who's never ripped us off, scammed us and put my dog's life in danger or anything else like that. He's always had our dog's best health and intrest in mind... and damn will I be sad when he does fully retire.

But he's right, 90% of people are scared of this bs tag thats going around with grain free foods, but my dogs have actually been a lot healthier and happier since switching them off of grain in foods. People are scared of the tag going with it and want to buy something grain in that's "healthier" for for their dogs, and wouldn't you know it... vets have an option, an option that costs a good 140$ to buy. It all just sounds like a huge money scam to me, until science can actually prove something about this whole DCM being linked to grain free foods, just give your dogs what they love.
