Should dating as a Christian college student feel so helpless?

Wow. Thank you internet stranger for diagnosing all of my issues from one comment! I never said that I wasn't fulfilled. I am extremely happy and at peace at where I am in my life. However, even in acceptance and contentedness there can still be pain. Paul wrote about this many times. The longing for a family and children is instilled in women, and as a traditional, domestic goddess type, it's an even stronger instinct for me.

Your comment is extremely rude and hurtful. My voice represents many in the church. There's an unspoken epidemic of single people in their 30s and 40s that proves it isn't just me. There are larger issues at play involving both society and the church.

Your comment is extremely insensitive and lacking in grace. I'm sorry that you had to wait until the age of...the national statistic to get married. Maybe talk to someone over 35 who has never been married before and practice empathy?

Would you tell a couple struggling with infertility that their inability to conceive is their fault for not "finding fulfillment?" IF YOU WOULDN'T EXPRESS THAT PLATITUDE TO AN INFERTILE COUPLE, DON'T SAY IT TO A SINGLE PERSON.
