Is it though? Imagine a comparable scenario. A woman is 100+ lbs overweight, but has a thinner looking face. She only includes face pictures knowing she appears thinner than she actually is and doesn’t list her body type at all. She’s on here wondering if she should disclose her weight. People on here would tell her she absolutely should disclose her weight because she’s being dishonest and is wasting her time and her date’s time. If she showed up to the date 100+ lbs heavier than she appeared in pictures and the guy came to this sub to complain about it, people would say she’s a total catfish and untrustworthy/dishonest. They wouldn’t tell the guy that “If weight is one of your dealbreakers, the onus is on you to declare “No fatties” in your profile.” The whole point of these apps having height, body type, etc as something you list upfront is to allow people to filter others out by preference.
