Should you transition if you won't be pretty enough?

Sorry but I doubt that. My partner doesn't wear makeup and isn't mistaken for a man. On the bus I use to ride to work there's a woman who does physical outside work (judging by her hi-vis jacket and muddy boots). Her hair is greasy and she wears the most baggy clothes ever. Yet it's obvious that she's a woman. Jail warden from my old martial arts club. Did not wear make-up and did't wear feminine clothing, no one mistook her for male.

I'd really like to see a photo of some one passing with just make up, in their 30s-40s, especially if they have extremely masculine facial features. I'd like to know how make up will hide the cranial mass, temporal ridge, zygomatic bone, mandible, etc etc, especially on someone with low body fat like myself. I've never seen anyone in this age bracket passing pre-HRT. They look like drag-queens with the make up (no offence to anyone intended).

"Just don't ever think that your status as a woman depends on your beauty, in anyone's eyes. Even your own." No, of course not. So long as we transwomen obsess over style and fashion, right?

I agree with most of your post, but don't agree with your comment here.
