Snoop Dogg upset with lack of publicity for Akon, calls Caitlyn Jenner a "science project"

I believe everybody should be able to be exactly who they want to be. If you're trans, bi, gay, pansexual, or just really like toasters or whatever you can have a seat at my table and break bread with me if you're a real mother fucker. There's a huge shortage of real mother fuckers on this planet, so your sexuality, race, and other irrelevant details do not concern me. If I can count on you to be there for me when I need you, you can damn sure bet I'll be there for you 200% . Regardless of who you choose to love and cherish, or how you to choose to display yourself.

That being said, I can't really say I have a lot of respect for Bruce Jenner. I'm glad he gets to display himself as he feels now. However, the way it was done seemed like just another Kardashian publicity stunt. These publicity stunts draw negative attention and energy to causes, not positive ones. Although, if there are some young men and women out there that somehow got the courage to be themselves because of Bruce Jenner I would instantly repeal my statement.

Due to Jenner's wealth, he will be fine. This actually reminds me of 'The well of Loneliness' what some refer to as one of the first Lesbian or Trans novel. Many people see it as groundbreaking, and perhaps it was. However, it also glorified Eugenic ideas and portrayed sexuality as only OK for a certain type of lesbian/trans person, while the rest were still considered lower forms of beings. The 'acceptable lesbians' were from the White Aristocracy. Nobody else was considered worthy of pursuing their sexuality.

What Akon is doing is some real shit. But the majority of white America could give a fuck about Black People, or Africa. Despite it's awkward love affair with the culture that is so blatantly displayed in this sub. How else do you explain Black Men making up 6-8% of the US population and 33% of the prison population? (US Census and Department of Justice Statistics)

What Bruce Jenner's doing is some privileged shit. It is very much a privileged science project left to the upper classes. How is this positive for the child that does not have the ability to afford that operation? How are they supposed to pursue their sexuality and their comfort? There is nothing wrong with being trans. Nothing at all. You have every right to be who you are. Yet, it seems to be that the subscript here is really 'if you can afford it'. And that is not the message we should be sending to people dealing with their sexuality.
