Someone else's kid is making our family life harder.

I love my wife and treat her with all the respect in the world, she is my partner in everything. I'm absolutely crazy about my kids and would do anything for them. My children get to see a caring and devoted father.

I would be ecstatic if they had a family where everyone is as loved and cared for as ours is now.

I also went to a lot of college and have a nice and reliable job. I've been independent since I was 16. All those traits I would love for my children to see in me and emulate.

But I honestly don't have any intention of trying to teach my children that all of society's woes are their responcibility to fix. I don't want my children sacrificing their wellbeing for society/acquaintances.

I also reiterate this to them by how I live.

Like I said, to each their own.
