Sorry Bell, Accessing U.S. Netflix is Not Theft - Michael Geist

Your confusing theft with tricking region specific technologies. Also, VPN's are no longer hiding. VPN is now standard for all customers who use computers just like antiviurs, antimalware, updates, and other security steps. The end user wants the best security available. VPN is one small but important parts now that its been established that the government and system is highly compromised both from existential threats as well as domestic ones of all kinds. The Internet and its users do not accept the type of copyright and domination of technology being seen. Nor do we accept that might is always right, or that all laws should even be obeyed. The Internet is not the property of corporations to control human discourse with, although they seem to believe it is, they also seek to redefine copying as some form of crime. Let them. Millions of us continue stomping all over copyright laws and will do so indefinitely. We are already planning 10 years ahead to make sure infringement cannot possibly be stopped by force of government or its laws. You know why? Because masses of Internet users have more power on the Internet then the government. A true free market. Thus it becomes very challenging for the wealthy minority to use money to control the unsympathetic majority. This is what happens when the whip is not feared. Besides, the concept of contentious objectors is surely not new to you, and in the face of communications and media monopolies consumers have no legal options other then to break laws as a form of civil disobedient and conscientious objection. I would never give Bell Canada one cent for anything in this lifetime ever again. If it just so happens Bell is the only organization with a given piece of content, then I will not hesitate to break the law and acquire that content for my personal pleasure. They could not stop me with drug laws in high school, I still did drugs,a nd they won't stop this either. Laws have nothing to do with it, that is what drives them, and likely you, so crazy. And the funny thing, every time the governmnet makes another unenforceable law, it just undermines the authority of government even though the stupid politicians think they are making shit happen. Teh thing about content and entertainment is that its the life blood of culture, and we the popel are no longer content to be told and spoon fed that culture from corporations like Bell Canada. Its not about saving some chump change, we are out to hurt Bell Canada. Straight up malice towards bullying monopolies. The law is nothing but a con, a service, purchased by corporations from corrupt politicians, and not only will millions of us break it, we will gladly teach other how. This is not going away, and Bell's attempts at bullying only embolden.
