South Park has more depth than that but you really have to watch and listen to the Episodes.

More often than not it ends up being a commentary on society and how things are wrong, but you will not get that if you approach the show with a "Negative" attitude and just hear the swearing.

That and they are not afraid to talk (and make fun) of topics that most would not even touch with a ten foot long pole.

But considering that you think everyone that watches South Park must be under 18 as you pointed out in a comment below I don't think this topic really has any staying power.

Also, you do realize that most people say the same about Rick & Morty? Pseudo-intellectual Nerds that think they are deep because they watch the show and how "Smart" they are for understanding it.
