Spike Lee backs Bernie Sanders: 'He will do the right thing'

i mean, put yourself in a poor black persons shoes.

Spike Lee isn't poor.

its literally taken decades, and the invention and near 100% adoption of the smartphone, before white people would finally believe that police have been unfairly harrassing nonwhites. some will still deny it.

I haven't seen any statistics on white people and what they believe about police brutality, but speaking for myself I already knew it happened before this whole BLM thing started. I mean, look at Rodney King. Also, I have literally never heard anyone deny that police unfairly harass some people. I'm sure some people do say that, but if your goal is "literally everyone has to believe this or it's a problem with the whole race" then I just don't know what to say. And it's not fair to hold

look at mortgage companies purposefully targeting black people in order to push loans they think they can afford. Thats an extremely coordinated effort btw.

How about poor people taking loans they can't afford? Obviously it's wrong of mortgage companies to push people into loans, but maybe people have a personal responsibility to not take loans they can't afford. I would even agree that mortgage companies are much more to blame here, but you still have some personal responsibility when it comes to your finances. Also, I don't think they were targeting black people specifically, just poor people of whatever color. It may be that more black people chose to take loans they couldn't afford to pay back, but I don't see that as a racist action by the mortgage, especially not an "extremely coordinated" one as you claim. But what does this have to do with Spike Lee generalizing about white people?

thats just the tip of the iceberg. and still to this day, people like you

What do you mean by "people like me"? People who like to be treated as individuals instead of being tossed into the evil white devils bucket?

will still deny everything, walking around in some vacuum thinking the world is a perfect meritocracy.

Wtf are you even talking about? When did I say anything about meritocracy or when did I deny everything? You are getting an awful lot of information from simply "it's wrong to generalize about a race of people."
